The Cuban Brothers At Concorde 2

The Cuban Brothers At Concorde 2
Published 10th Mar 2009 by Declan Cassidy

Brighton’s only festival in a club returns for a Easter Cuban special! On Saturday the 11th April the only easter party you need to know about is at the Concorde 2. Playgroup presents one of the finest festival acts in the country and one of Rob Da Banks favourite bands, The Cuban Brothers! The Cuban Brothers are unique. Born of the loins of seventies Havana, nurtured on a diet of soulful, sexy tunes and inspired by Cuban historical fact and mythology – their fresh approach to live entertainment whips up frenzy at every gig!

Their legendary performance combines music, which evolves with every show, riotous comedy, both physical and observational, and sensational dancing - consequently the energy at every show is incredible. They’ve recently put together a full live band which add a further dimension to their amazing show. Supporting the Cubans are Manjinga 7, a 7 piece gypsy swing extravaganza of a band, Junk yard Scientists, 14 piece funk/ska mania + the sensational new dirty electro DJs, Kry Wolf. The front bar is hosted by THEM, playing electro/dubstep/rave and party tracks. The Backroom bazaar is kicking it oldschool with the best in motown, soul and funk + walkabout performers / live AV show and tons more! Join the revolution!
