The Cuban Brothers Touch Down At Playgroup!

Brighton’s only festival-in-a-club returns for a Christmas special! Come celebrate with Playgroup as we present our Cuban Christmas. On Friday December the 5th the only festive party you need to know about is at The Brighton Coalition. Playgroup presents one of the finest festival acts in the country and one of Rob Da Banks favourite bands, The Cuban Brothers! The Cuban Brothers are unique. Born of the loins of seventies Havana, nurtured on a diet of soulful, sexy tunes and inspired by Cuban historical fact and mythology – their fresh approach to live entertainment whips up frenzy at every gig.

Their legendary performance combines music, which evolves with every show, riotous comedy, both physical and observational, and sensational dancing - consequently the energy at every show is incredible. They’ve recently put together a full live band which add a further dimension to their amazing show. Supporting the Cubans are Brighton festival legends Los Albertos, their ska/punk jump up fun is a joy to behold and gets the party started wherever they perform! Django Spears, recently cited as one of Bestivals top 5 things to see perform their incredible mix of Gypsy swing mixed with 90s dance hits. Along with all this there are amazing visuals and décor, live AV screens, free massage, tarot, fancy dress and free face painting. A real carnival of Christmas stupidity.
