The Scarlet Street Resistance Release Debut Single & Headline Joogleberry

The Scarlet Street Resistance release the debut single ‘NASTY THOUGHTS’ on Monday 12th May 2008 through The Big Room Co. ‘Nasty Thoughts’ will be the first real release from the new Brighton based act since having their demos played on Radio 1 last year. The new single is produced by electro genius DJ and Producer Tim Healey (Shiny toy Guns, Ministry of Sound, Coburn, Electric Tease).
The band are currently mixing the debut album titled ‘The Big Steal’ which tells the story of our femme fatale 'Scarlet' whose split personality gets her into lots of trouble just like a few years back. It's a dark, moody album packed with real songs loosely based on film noir featuring the bands signature narrative vocals from Mr Jones and collaborations with movie score composer (and ex Keys player for UK brit rockers Bush) Sacha Puttnam.
