Vodafone Tba: N*E*R*D, The Streets & Mcfly

Brighton beach on the 10th of August 2008. Hundreds of young people met to celebrate the second “Vodafone TBA”-gig of the year, including a line up of “The Streets”, “McFly” and “N*E*R*D” with their most popular band member Pharrell Williams.
Funk Rock Supremes, N*E*R*D with their booming hip-hop beats and rock riffs engaged the crowd immediately. The experimental sound of their favourite songs and some new tracks from their recent album ‘Seeing Sounds’ grooved the historic seafront of Brighton and the spectators.
Another crowd pleaser were the top quartet, McFly. With seven Number 1 singles and two Number 1 albums McFly are one of the biggest British bands of the decade. Their energetic pop melodies of crashing drums, cascading guitars and jubilant lyrics ensured their set was brimming with vibrant vigour.
