Participants can choose between a three or six mile route and anyone can take part but if you want to walk with your canine companions or bring along a stuffed furry friend even better! The charity hopes people will enjoy keeping fit with their friends and family whilst helping raise vital funds for rescue dogs at the same time.

Registration for Waggy Walks can be carried out by visiting www.waggywalks.org.uk or by calling Dogs Trust on 020 7837 0006.The walk starts at 11am so waggy walkers should get to the park at around 10.30am and bring along their registration form to take part.

Clarissa Baldwin, Dogs Trust CEO commented:

“It will be a great day out for everyone from families to one man and his dog. And anyone can take part in their nearest Waggy Walk: big or small; young or old, four legs or two!

Every pound raised through Waggy Walks sponsorship is vital to Dogs Trust and will go directly to provide for the thousands of dogs in our care”

Jake, the three-legged Waggy Walks mascot is already in training and very excited about the big event. So if you can’t make it along on the day, please sponsor Jake through www.justgiving.com/waggywalks .
