What's On Next Week - Brighton Jeweller Goodman Morris Celebrates 10th Anniversary
Published 24th Nov 2011 by Juliet Brooke

This December, award-winning Brighton jeweller Goodman Morris is celebrating its 10th anniversary in style! As a big thank you to its loyal customers, on 1st December, the boutique jewellery store is opening its doors for a special drinks and shopping day, and as an extra treat, a diamond will be given away to one lucky winner.

Goodman Morris customers, who include Zoe Ball and Vic Reeves, are being invited to the Brighton Lanes store all day for a drink and some nibbles and will also receive a special 15% discount to spend in the store, perfect for some Christmas shopping! One lucky attendee will receive a special treat in their shopping bag, a very sparkly diamond. It’s an opportunity Brighton locals can’t afford to miss!

Meanwhile, Goodman Morris has been supporting local talent by hosting a design competition amongst nine local secondary schools. Students in years’ seven to ten have been invited to submit a design for an exciting wearable piece of jewellery inspired by Brighton’s famous Pavillion, and the winning design will be created and available in store.

Goodman Morris have had over 100 entries and have shortlisted five finalists. The winner will be announced at the store event on 1st December and will be presented with an extra special, personalised piece of jewellery based on their winning design.

Founded in 2001 by jewellery designers Alex Goodman and Nicola Morris, the collection features beautiful handmade bespoke pieces of jewellery including rings, earrings, neck-pieces and bracelets together alongside bridal and men’s collections.
