With Age Comes... Event At Churchill Square – Saturday 8th March

With Age Comes. event at Churchill Square - Saturday 8th March - 11am - 4pm - Admission free

The "With Age Comes." project culminates in an event at Churchill Square on Saturday 8th March from 11am - 4pm

The project aims to raise awareness and celebrate the creativity of older people in Brighton and Hove.

Performers on the day include The Great Omani (82 year old stuntman), Brighton Jive, Moonstar Belly Dancers, walkabout street theatre courtesy of First Base, music and cabaret.

Individual participants will also be wearing specially designed T-Shirts depicting their personal stories as part of a live history exhibition.

There will also be exhibitions courtesy of Our Story - a photographic exhibition representing the gay and lesbian history of Brighton and Hove, Queenspark Books - a photographic and literary exhibition entitled 'Street Lives'.

Other exhibitors on the day will include St. John's Centre, 60+ Action Group, Brighton and Hove Coalition of Older People, Brighton and Hove Local Studies Centre and Age Concern.
