4th October 2008, My Daughter's 10th Birthday!First impressions, everything looks lovely - the waitresses are more than accomodating, starters are lovely with exceptional spare ribs. However, main course were under average with more food colouring and MSG than you could shake a big chopstick at!What appeared to be the male proprietor took offence to my daughter and her friends playing with the chop sticks and spoke directly to them as opposed to talking to my wife or myself first! It then followed that several loud English louts emerged from downstairs f'ing and blinding at the top of their voices with absolutely no interaction from the said proprietor!!! He was either making too much profit from them or was too afraid to confront them - probably the latter... yellow *&^^&*%!!! It was a wet evening and on leaving my wife happended to slip on the ramp coming down from the boat and severly hurt her back on what should be a safe passage way for disabled people! Would not recommend this restaurant unless you stick to the starters and take the steps down and hold on to the banasters!... Don't play with the chopsticks, but feel free to sware and talk at the top of your voice without fear of being repremanded. |

| One thing I always look forward to when we go down to Brighton is to have a meal at the Pagoda. Where else can you sample authentic chinese cuisine in a lovely boat atmosphere overlooking the Marina? Went there at the weekend after a stressful week and it was such a treat. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly. Definitely a place to unwind. | |
