Friends Stag

Bouncers/ doormen are idiots of very low grade intelligence.

They attempted to negotiate the price of entry up, having changed their minds several times about what the price should have been. Acted with menace.

I am extremely glad that I do not have a share of the profits of this company, as the doormen clearly are hell bent on preventing the club from achieving its maximum potential.

Avoid at all costs.

We eventually gave up and went to Grace instead, and our treatment at Grace was of an utterly diffent standard.

Platinum Lace - Bank Holiday

Was back in Brighton for the bank holiday weekend. Went back to a old haunt the club that used to be Spearmint Rhino now Platinum Lace. Well it still the same club hardly changed still got 2 floors of dancers, inbred security on the door and a good range of girls, although a few more that really shouldn't be working without clothes on. Had a couple of dances one from a cute blond and the other from a drop dead gourgous Brazilian, the later really knew what she was doing and although she didn't speak great English oh my god what a sexy voice. The drinks aren't to expensive and considering your getting a rolling strip show not bad. I'm used to the London strip clubs and for a smaller town this is pretty good.

£20 for a lapdance and £10 topless.

The girls are gorgeous no doubt about that, but the bouncers are running a scam, which leaves visitors out of pocket. They approach men in the gents toilets stating they believe they are in posession of drugs and want to search them. During the search, money, cards or mobile phones are pilfered. When I noticed my mobile was missing I was already heading out of the club, so I asked the doorman to check. They said they checked the cameras and I had put it in my jasket pocket - but I wasn't wearing my jacket in the club, it was in the coat check. When I said I wanted to phone the police he suggested it may be embarassing for me, as he suggested I was carrying drugs. I wasn't! They got threatening and so I gave up and left.
